We provide an enclosed sensory play paddock for dogs, featuring undulating natural meadow grass and a secluded grove of trees. The paddock is surrounded by 6ft tall deer fencing with chicken wire reinforcing the base to keep both large and small dogs secure, and just under an acre in size.

The paddock is accessed from a peaceful farm yard in Monkswood, NP15 1QE. It is a 5 minute drive from Usk, and 10 minutes from Pontypool. Parking for a maximum of 2 cars is provided, a 2 minute walk from the paddock along a quiet public lane.

All bookings are 45 minutes beginning on the hour. There is a 15 minute buffer period between bookings to ensure you do not cross over with the next booking, for the comfort of your dogs. If you arrive early, it's best to remain in your car until the previous customer has left.

The paddock can be booked for a maximum of 6 dogs. The cost is £8 for up to 2 dogs, then 50p for each additional dog. Use the calendar to select the date and time you'd like to come, then the number of dogs you'd like to bring.

After placing a booking, we'll email you with everything you need to reach and access the paddock. We hope you have a great time at Pear Tree Paddock!

Banned breeds: If you would like to bring a banned breed of dog to the paddock, please email us ahead of your booking with your certificate of exemption and third party liability insurance. We will store a copy of these documents and can then welcome you to the paddock.
